A note for the trade

A meaningful portion of my work is specified by interior designers, architects, and art consultants on behalf of their clients — for primary suites, great rooms, dining rooms, foyers, stairwells, and hospitality projects. My studio is built around making that specification simple: live inventory ready to ship, bespoke commissions sized to the wall, clear trade terms, and a delivery process designed for original work at scale.

This page covers everything you need to know to bring my work to your client.

For art consultants & commercial projects

Hospitality, commercial, multi-family, and large-scale work has a dedicated home — the Conrad Nashville feature project, the full placement list, and licensing for multi-room placements.

Trade pricing

Verified interior designers and design firms receive 20% off retail pricing on all original paintings and commissions. This applies to ready-to-ship inventory, bespoke commissions, and multi-panel works.

To activate trade pricing, send a brief introduction from your studio email along with your firm name and website. I'll add you to my trade list and send your trade code along with my current available works.

Two ways to work with me

1. Ready-to-ship originals

Paintings Available Now is updated live with everything currently available from the Nashville studio — from intimate studies to architectural-scale work. Full dimensions, prices, and high-resolution images on every piece. Best for designers working to a project timeline who need work this month, not next quarter.

2. Bespoke commissions

The commission process is sized to your wall and calibrated to your light. I paint two paintings simultaneously, in conversation with each other, so your client has a real choice at first reveal. Approximately four weeks from deposit to delivery, depending on current studio schedule.

Best for great rooms, primary suites, double-height entries, hospitality lobbies, and any project where the painting needs to be made for that room and no other.

Payment

Payment in full at order, for both inventory and commissions. This applies to all clients.

Delivery

Every painting is shipped rolled to a framer local to your client, freshly stretched on arrival, then hand-delivered to the doorstep ready to hang. This is the safest, cleanest way to deliver original work at scale — the painting arrives taut, undamaged, and installation-ready.

Flat $250 shipping anywhere in the continental United States. Float framing available on request, coordinated through the local framer and billed separately.

What I provide for your presentations

  • High-resolution images of every available work for your client decks and 3D renderings
  • Transparent-background PNGs on request, so paintings can be dropped into your elevations and renderings cleanly
  • Detailed dimensions, weight, and stretcher depth for installation planning
  • Editorial tear sheets by series — formatted for client decks, available on the Portfolio page

About the work

I'm a contemporary abstract painter based in Nashville, Tennessee, working professionally for over twenty years. My paintings are oil and mixed media on canvas, focused on color theory, gestural composition, and the relationship between palette and architectural light. Each piece is original — no prints, no reproductions, no edition.

Work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Luxe Magazine, Forbes, Domino, and House Beautiful. Licensing projects include a bespoke fabric line for West Elm in partnership with Minted.

Frequently asked questions from designers

Do you work with designers nationally?

Yes — anywhere in the continental United States. I currently work with designers in NYC, LA, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Nashville, Charleston, Naples, Palm Beach, Aspen, Chicago, Greenwich, and the Hamptons, among other markets.

Can you match a specific palette for a project?

Yes — that's the heart of the commission process. Send the room, the materials, the textiles, and any fixed elements (rugs, wallpaper, stone). I calibrate palette to the existing scheme rather than asking the client to work around the painting.

Can the client see the painting before paying in full?

For ready-to-ship inventory, every piece has high-resolution images and detailed dimensions available before order. For commissions, payment in full at order secures the studio slot — your client sees both paintings (made simultaneously) at first reveal and selects the direction to refine. Either way, I send multiple videos of the finished work before it ships — for both ready-to-ship pieces and commissions — so you and your client see exactly what's arriving.

What scales do you commission?

Medium (30 to 48 inches), large (48 to 60 inches), extra large (60 inches and up), and oversized architectural work at 90 inches and beyond. In practice there's no upper limit — for the largest walls I build the painting across stretched canvas tiles that reassemble seamlessly on site, so I can meet virtually any dimension. That makes it ideal for hotel lobbies, double-height entries, and large commercial installations. Diptychs, triptychs, and multi-panel works are priced by total scale.

Can you ship internationally?

The current trade program serves the continental United States. International requests are considered case by case and quoted separately.

Do you do exclusivity for specific projects?

For commissioned work — yes, by definition. Each commission is original and unique. For ready-to-ship inventory, the piece is yours from the moment of order and removed from public availability.

Will you license your work for multi-room hotel reproductions?

For select hospitality projects, yes — typically anchored to original hero pieces in the public areas, with licensed reproductions coordinated across guest rooms or repeating amenity spaces. Available case by case. The consultancy handles the reproduction; I work with you on selection and approvals.
